We will populate this page, together, over the course of the semester with resources that your peers have found helpful.

Excused Absences

There may be unavoidable reasons that you need to miss class, which is why you have grace days. However, if you are attending an academic conference, a university-sanctioned event, or need to miss class due to a religious or faith-based observance, you do not need to use a grace day. While you do not need to ask to use grace days, in these cases, please let me know ahead of time in case we need to arrange accommodations for your absence.

If you are going to miss class due to a religious/faith-based reason and you do not feel comfortable discussing your absence with me, that is no problem. You can use this form to arrange accommodations with me via student affairs.

How to Succeed in this Class

Toward the end of the semester, I will ask you for feedback on the course and to share tips with future students about how to succeed. Your advice will go here to be shared with students who take classes with me in future semesters.
